On April 7, 2026 the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee Alumni Association Nepal (IITRAAN) proudly collaborated with the Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA) to host a highly informative Weekly Talk Program titled “Application of Novel Polymeric Alloy Cellular Confinement Systems in Soil Stabilization”. The session featured distinguished speaker Dr. Sanat Pokharel, Principal Engineer at Stratum Logics Inc., who shared his extensive global expertise on engineered soil reinforcement. During the presentation, Dr. Pokharel detailed how the unique material properties and geometry of polymeric Cellular Confinement Systems (CCS) can be leveraged to enhance soil strength, reduce project risks, and improve overall constructability. By showcasing real-world global project examples and advanced design methodologies, the talk highlighted the critical role of CCS in building stronger, more resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure.
